Hold On Tight To Your Faith
“In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.” 1 PETER 1:6-7
Here on Earth, it is considered wise to save up for the future, to have a plan for how you will be supported in your old age. But how much more important should it be considered, to prepare for the salvation of the soul?
Jesus never promised that following Him would exempt us from facing problems in this life. But He did promise to always be with us, and to help us overcome whatever we face.
God requires you to trust Him so hold on tight to your faith in God and His Word! Those who faithfully wait before the Lord will exchange their strength for His and be enabled to perform the tasks of life all the way to its end.
