But
you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you
shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8 NKJV)
There are many
people that are coming to the church and they seem to be faithful to
Jesus and also to the church, but, unfortunately, when we look at them,
we can not see the promises that we find in the bible fulfilled in their
lives. The question is, why? Well, if we meditate on what is written on
the verse above, we understand that they lack the Holy Spirit, because
he is the only one who can make us to remain strong enough to overcome
all the problems and conquer not only material blessings, but the most
important one that is our salvation. This is the power that we receive
when receiving the Holy Spirit. If you are not baptized with the Holy
Spirit, don't miss this opportunity that the Fast of Daniel gives us to
be baptized, renewed, revived. Today is the second day of the fast of
Daniel, and I encourage you to take part, separate your self to God, be
far from news, movies, secular music and use most of your time during
the 21 days to connect your self to God. It will lead you to be another
person, capable to be witness of Christ wherever you go.
May God bless you!
