The Holy Spirit!
“And do not be drunk with wine in which is dissipation, but be filled
with the HOLY SPIRIT speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord,
giving thanks always for all things to God the Father an the name of the
Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.”
Ephesians 5:18-21
To be filled with the Holy Spirit means to
exercise faith in its fullness. When we absorb a person’s thoughts or
ideas we are absorbing his spirit, which is what happens with the Spirit
of God. When we feed our mind with His thoughts by reading His Word, we
are filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Lord Jesus said,
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. John 7:38
Here, Jesus speaks of a person whose belief in God agrees with the
bible and not with man or religion. As a result, the Holy Spirit will
flow out of him like a river and so a person who is filled with the
Spirit of God cannot have doubts, fear, anxiety or worry. Instead he has
the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
